This project was a major renovation of one of Penn State’s largest dining facilities. Findlay Commons features two floors of retail dining, with restaurant stations on both floors and a wide variety of seating configurations. It included renovation of approximately 54,000 sq. ft. of space. Work included major renovations to the kitchen areas as well.
The mechanical systems serving these rooms have been replaced, new bathrooms have been added to the first and second floors, and sprinklers have been installed throughout.
Additionally, this project will transform the entrance and feel of the facility. It will include a new 6,500 sq. ft. addition to the north of the building for a new 2-story monumental stair.
